On Saturday Sept 21, six Harvard students attended the 2013 ASDA District 1 Leadership conference, held at Boston University dental school. The day-long conference, which brought together over fifty dental students from BU, Harvard, Tufts, and UConn, featured presentations on legislation affecting dental students, professional development, and leadership opportunities in ASDA. Speakers included Jiwon Lee, the current ASDA national president and Dr. Shenkin, the new ADA Vice President elect. After the conference, the group moved to Fenway Park to socialize and catch a RedSox game!
