Pre-Dental
Pre-Dental
The HSDM Pre-Dental Committee works to build a relationship between pre-dental students in the Boston area and HSDM. Through various events and programs, the committee aims to expose pre-dental students to the field of dentistry and to educate and mentor them through the application process. Our annual Pre-Dental Mini-Conference occurs in the Fall and provides students the opportunity to mingle with current HSDM students, hear from faculty and admissions, and learn about HSDM and a career in dentistry. The Introduction to Dentistry course, which occurs during the Spring semester, meets biweekly and is entirely student-run, with lectures, tutorial sessions, and hands-on workshops to expose interested students to dental specialties and content that typically is covered during early years of dental school. The committee aims to build one on one relationships with pre-dental students via these events and more that occur throughout the year.
